Cesar Ornelas

Dedicated Entrepreneur

Growing up, Cesar Ornelas had entrepreneurship in his blood. When he was younger, his father would take him door to door selling watermelons, and the concept of working for himself and earning his own money took root and began to grow.

He learned to step out of his shell and become a seller, finding ways to earn money; in middle school, he saved up enough money that he began purchasing candy and selling it at school. Eventually, he earned up enough that he started working with his cousin, who would go to Salvation Army auction sales to gather items to resell. Here, Cesar saw washers and dryers and old appliances that could be refurbished and resold; e began flipping appliances, and, at 16, he opened his own electronics store. By the time he was 18, Cesar owned his own car dealership. This venture quickly turned into purchasing, flipping, and selling mobile homes, which would be the start of Ormeida Cabins.

Now, in his career in San Antonio, Texas, Cesar Ornelas is the CEO of Ormeida Cabins and a Partner at EZ Rent-to-Own. He founded Ormeida Cabins when he was 18, and with his team of 15 employees, he provides rent-to-own and built-to-own, no-credit homes at affordable prices. Then, four years ago, he and two partners co-founded EZ Rent-to-Own, where they offer financial solutions and rent-to-own options for their customers. While someone might not be able to afford a new home, Cesar and the team provide them with affordable, refurbished options with no credit check.

Ever the entrepreneur, Cesar Ornelas even founded his own law firm when he was 23, Cesar Ornelas Law; here, as a personal injury attorney, he helps people ensure they aren’t being taken advantage of. Most of his clients have just gone through something traumatic, and he’s here to help guide them through it and out the other side.

What sets Cesar Ornelas apart from other entrepreneurs is his drive and his tenacity. His mindset is – and always has been – outworking the competition. He operates with the mentality of not giving up, never giving up. He’s also a visionary, able to envision his goals and build towards them.

Outside of his busy career, Cesar Ornelas loves to travel. An interest that began when he was younger – traveling with his family – exploded into a full-blown passion when he was 16 and traveled to Europe with his grandparents for the first time. Traveling to a new country, Cesar was exposed to how different the world is outside of his hometown and saw all of the beauty and interest that the world has to offer.
